Monday – Art History/Painting cluster with Jenny Valmadre
Notebook and pen
USB stick for the second class
Brushes (whatever you have already)
Rags
A palette – Jenny likes laminated paper or card A3 size – old posters etc.
Container for water

Tuesday – Ceramics with Kerry Grierson
Notebook and pen
Clay – available at The Art Barn (Newell St) or Cairns Potters Club (Grove St - http://www.cairnspottersclub.net/pdf/clay-pricelist-jan-2014.pdf  for price list and contact information)
Keane Stoneware 33 – preferred only @ Art Barn, Walkers PB103 or Feeney White Stoneware – will use on wheel. 1 bag required for first lesson.
Raku clay – Keane Special K, Keane White Raku, Keane Raku T or Feeney BRT – 1 bag required for second lesson.
Old towel
Car cleaning sponge for cleaning your table etc.
Bucket with lid – lockers fit up to 10 litre
Container for water

Any tools you may have. Don’t buy any until after 1st class.

Wednesday/Thursday – Drawing with Carole Lomax
Workable fixative – The Art Barn, Showgrounds Craft Shop, Art and Office (formerly Cairns Drawing Supplies – Scott St)
Rags – items to clean your area
Old towel

Friday - Sculpture will be advised next week in class
