The CUV30111 Certificate III in Visual Arts students have finished the week with the Produce Sculpture unit. Today's class focused on introductory mouldmaking skills with students working on a small ceramic jewellery piece (pendant) or a small relief tile in a smooth white clay. The mould will be made using Plaster of Paris and the pieces will be reproduced using stoneware and porcelain clays. They will be finished using a range of ceramic decorative and glazing techniques.
Places still exist in most classes -elective areas include Painting, Drawing, Ceramics and Sculpture. If you would like to study visual arts at TNQTAFE in 2014 please contact Kerry Grierson on 40 422505 or email kerry.grierson@deta.qld.edu.au
