Thank you for your expression of interest in the 2014 Visual Arts courses offered by Tropical North Queensland TAFE .

New Students:
Certificate IV: Please call 40422595 from the 06 January to finalise your enrolment. Portfolio is not required.
Diploma Students: Please call 40422595 from the 06 January to make an appointment for an interview to finalise your enrolment. A portfolio is required (digital or hard copy).
Diploma of Visual Arts CUV50111- Folio Requirements
- Your folio should display your current art accomplishment, potential and commitment to study.
- Contain evidence of prior qualifications obtained
- Include 8 to 10 pieces that show a range of media. Your folio must provide evidence of the elective area of study you wish to pursue at diploma level. For instance, if you have no pre-existing skills in ceramics, painting or digital you will not be eligible to study such at a diploma level.
- The work must have been produced within the last year.
Payment plans are available, if you are wishing to pursue a payment plan or wanting to enrol with a concession, ensure that you have enquired about eligibility with student services and pre arranged your health care card with centrelink prior to your appointment.
Classes do have a maximum student number so to avoid disappoint please have the above processes organised prior to your appointment.

Appointments can be made by phoning 40422620 ( Mon, Tues) 404222350 (Wed, Thurs, Fri) or 40422434 and are available from the 17th of January for fulltime Cert IV enrolments and all Diploma enrolments. Those wishing to enrol in the Wednesday’s part time painting/ drawing class only, can also contact us after the 10th of January. All Cert IV Students wishing to enrol on a Part time basis in other timetabled classes please contact us to organise your enrolment after the 23rd of January.
The Visual Arts staff room is located in Y Block
Classes commence on the 30th January
